The UK has the highest incident of teenage pregnancy in Europe. At Options we offer age-appropriate PSHE lessons to local schools looking at:
- Relationships – includes sexually transmitted infections
- Teenage pregnancy – looks at all the options that would be open to a teenager faced with this situation - keeping the baby, adoption, abortion.
We believe that if young people are given accurate information and opportunity to think through the consequences of their choices in a safe and positive environment, they will be more likely to make good choices.
